SOME GENERAL INFO
Why did I want to become a writer? I can't really say that there was one definitive event in my life, but there were a few reasons. The first is because of Bill Simmons the Sports Guy of ESPN fame. His humor made me see sports in a different way. He even is a sports fan that watches wrestling, an unusual occurrence in my experience. Once I started checking ESPN.com 20 times a day in hopes of seeing a new column, I knew that I wanted to influence people like that.
I am a wrestling fan and I wasn't satisfied with just what I saw on TV. I wanted to know what happened behind the curtain, all the occurrences that didn't show up from watching a broadcast. In search of knowledge I set out on the Internet and started to read some columns. Reading many of them left me feeling like I could do better, even with no experience. I wrote a few columns, sent out a bunch of emails, and got jobs at 2 sites, Moonsault.com and TWNPNews.com. Once I started to write it all steamrolled from there.
